Your inquiry is in. Now let's make the conversation worth your time.

A chapter leader will reach out within one to two business days. Between now and then, this
page tells you what CEO Life is, what it isn't, and what happens next — so the call can start
somewhere better than the beginning.

A hello from the founder

Two minutes from John Seckel

Why he started CEO Life, who it was built for, and the one thing he'd want
you to know before anyone talks to you about membership.

The room you're asking about

600+

Members

35+

Chapters across 18 states

12

In-person chapter evenings a year

4

Global trips a year

Every chapter hosts one extraordinary evening in person each month, two virtual
gatherings, and members travel together four times a year. Membership is selective and

What happens next

01

A conversation

A leader from the chapter you asked about calls you. No deck, no pitch. You talk about what you're building and what's missing; they listen.

02

An honest read

They tell you plainly whether this is the right room for you. If it isn't a fit, you'll hear that — it's a short conversation and nobody's time is wasted.

03

An evening as our guest

If it looks like a fit, you come to an event before anyone asks you for anything. You won't stand alone at the door - someone will be expecting you and will know who you should meet.

04

An invitation

You've met the room and the room has met you. If both sides want it, you're invited to join your chapter, and your leader walks you through the commitment and the numbers.

How this works

Most rooms put the business first and hope the friendship follows. We do it the other way around. Bond Before Business.

Nobody is handed a directory and told to work it. You share a table, a boat, a track, a trip. The relationships form the way real ones always have — over time, in person, without an agenda — and the business that comes out of them comes out of them because the friendship was real first. That's the whole design, and it's the reason membership stays small.

Gather

One extraordinary evening in your city every month, two virtual gatherings, and four global trips a year with members from every chapter.

Grow

Builders, inventors, operators, funders and experts who have been where you're going — and who take your call because they know you.

Give

Members who leave their communities better than they found them. The giving pillar is a condition of belonging, not an add-on.

WHO BUILT THIS

John Seckel

FOUNDER, CEO Life

John built CEO Life for a problem nobody in this category was naming: the most capable person in the room is often the loneliest one in it. He wasn’t interested in another room where people trade cards and follow up. He wanted the room where they become friends first – and where the mission is to reach fifty thousand leaders who leave their communities better than they found them.
